Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of PassportPicz (the "Service"), operated by CZY Tools (sole proprietorship of Zhongyan Cai), registered in Wuhan, Hubei, China. By using the Service or buying a download you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service does
PassportPicz is a browser-based photo preparation tool. It crops, aligns and resizes a photo you select to a chosen official specification (for example US 2×2 in, China 33×48 mm, UK 35×45 mm, Schengen 35×45 mm) and can produce a 4×6 inch print sheet. A free preview and basic compliance check are available without payment. Downloading the high-resolution, watermark-free files requires a one-time payment.
All processing runs locally in your browser. We do not receive your photo.
3. Price, payment and what you get
- Price: USD 9.99, one-time, no subscription, no recurring charge.
- Payment is handled by Creem acting as Merchant of Record. Your card statement will show Creem or its descriptor.
- After successful payment you get: a 300 dpi JPG of a single photo, a 4×6 in print sheet with multiple copies, and access to all supported country sizes. Your unlock is stored in your browser so you can re-download later on the same device and browser.
- Prices may change, but a change never affects a purchase already completed.
4. Refunds
Because the product is a digital file delivered immediately, refunds are granted at our discretion. We will refund in full if:
- you were charged but never received a working download link, or
- the delivered file is corrupted or materially different from what the page described.
Requests must be sent to support@passportpicz.com within 14 days of purchase with your order ID. Refunds are issued through Creem to the original payment method. Nothing here limits statutory rights you may have as a consumer in your jurisdiction.
5. Licence and permitted use
You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to use the files you generate for personal or internal business purposes, including printing and submitting them to passport, visa or immigration authorities. You may not resell, redistribute or sublicense the files as a template or stock image, or operate a competing service using them.
6. Your responsibilities
- You must own the photo you upload or have permission from the person shown. Do not upload images of other people without their consent.
- You must not use the Service for fraud, identity theft or to create documents for any unlawful purpose.
- You are responsible for checking that the final photo meets the requirements of the authority you are submitting to.
7. No guarantee of acceptance
The Service performs automated geometric and quality checks against published specifications. These checks are indicative only. We do not guarantee that any government authority, embassy, consulate or visa centre will accept a photo produced with this tool. Final acceptance is always decided by that authority. You are responsible for reviewing the output before submitting it.
8. Availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Where a paid download cannot be completed because of a fault on our side, we will restore access or refund you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including missed travel, visa or appointment deadlines, or rejection of a photo by an authority. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, its code, design and text are owned by CZY Tools and protected by copyright. Your photo remains yours; we claim no rights over it, and in any case we never receive it.
11. Privacy
Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in this clause deprives a consumer of the protection of mandatory consumer law in their country of residence. Before litigating, please contact us at support@passportpicz.com so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your purchase. Material changes will be reflected in the date above.
